The three luxury wooden self-catering chalets and the honeymoon suite are all located on the dam wall. During the hot summer days guests can relax in or next to the swimming pool. Fishing is allowed (catch and release for larger fish) and can even be done from the comfort of your own private veranda or the dam wall. Bait fishing, artificial lure-fishing and fly fishing can be practiced, with tilapia making easy targets even for children and the black bass putting up a magnificent fight for the more skilled fisherman (and woman). The variety of game (impala, giraffe, red hartebeest, zebra, blesbuck, waterbuchk and warthog) and more than 156 recorded bird species ensures a pleasant walk or game drive on the farm. Clay target shooting can be arranged on site. Visitors are welcome to bring mountain bikes for the sandy roads and even canoes to play on the dam.
We cater for functions such as birthdays and anniversaries, as well as weddings and conferences, bookings in advance. DSTV is provided in the TV room for all those not-to-be-missed sporting events and other programs.

 Situated amongst lush Bushveld in the Waterberg area, Hanlin Lodge was established to give visitors who enjoy nature the opportunity to relax in comfort in Bushveld surroundings. Our core concept is to offer guests the opportunity to take that much needed break from the hectic demands of today’s lifestyle. We offer you a place to give your overloaded senses a break, where you can still see sunrises, sunsets and stars.
The lodge was opened during 2007 and consists of 4 chalets and an open-plan function hall, built overlooking a dam on two sides. The hall caters for weddings and functions for up to 160 people and is perfectly designed to be pleasant during both the warm summers and cooler winter times.
Both water and Bushveld birds can be watched from the comfort of your chalet's deck and in the late afternoons and evenings guests may see various game species coming to drink in the flood-lit area next to the dam, while fish and turtles feast on insects on the water surface.
A fully licensed bar, well equipped kitchen with state-of-the-art sound equipment ensure that every function will be a most enjoyable affair.
For weddings a secluded bush chapel is available a short walk from the function venue. The terrain and the farm offer excellent photographic opportunities.
Included in each wedding package is a romantic honeymoon suite set apart from the other chalets. It features a large corner bath with a 270 degree bush view as well as an outdoor shower and unforgettable view over the water.
